Supporting Research & Development
The following research, development and investigation initiatives demonstrate the ingenuity and expertise of our Western Australian personnel that is strengthening ABR efforts to roll out this eco-friendly and economic refurbishment technology into Australia on a commercial basis for the first time.
•Energy required to manufacture – equivalent of 8 gallons gasoline burned;
•Emission of 65 kilos of Carbon Dioxide – contributing to global warming
•Cold Venting of Sulphur Dioxide – creation of 83 tonnes of acid rain (by definition)This should convince Australians that battery refurbishment must be an imperative and a first choice ahead of the current widespread accepted practice for scrapping and recycling our lead acid batteries. Recycling lead acid batteries is bad for the Earth.
